Storia della pittura italiana esposta coi monumenti
Giovanni Rosini's multi-volume history of Italian painting, published in Pisa by Niccolò Capurro from 1848, illustrated Italian frescoes and panel paintings for scholars and collectors. The plates are outline engravings after early Italian masters: haloed saints, draped standing figures, and grouped attendants drawn in unshaded contour against blank grounds, usable as line-art figures, drapery studies, and halo or border motifs.
