Storia dell'arte in Sardegna dal XI al XIV secolo
Dionigi Scano's survey of Sardinian art and architecture from the eleventh to fourteenth centuries, published in Cagliari in 1907 for scholars of medieval building and church ornament. Halftone photographs record Romanesque and Gothic churches in raking light — banded stone masonry, arcaded gables, recessed portals with carved capitals, rose windows — offering weathered wall textures and plain arch geometry for collage and reference.
