The story of eclipses
A popular astronomy handbook by George F. Chambers, issued in New York by D. Appleton in 1912 for general readers following solar and lunar eclipses. The twelve plates and cuts show black discs against ruled or stippled grounds, crescent phases with measurement notes lettered along the margin, and corona studies whose streamers are built from fine engraved rays.
