The Street railway journal
An American trade periodical for the street railway industry, issued by McGraw Publishing in New York from the 1880s onward and read by traction engineers, managers and equipment suppliers. Pages carry power-station floor plans and sectional elevations in fine line, cutaway advertising engravings of mechanical stokers and fittings, and halftone photographs of early electric trolley cars with their crews posed aboard.
