The Street railway journal
A New York trade periodical for street and electric railway engineers and operating managers, published by McGraw from 1884 onward and reporting on traction plant, rolling stock and power generation. Pages mix dense body text with technical line engravings — plans, elevations and sections of turbines, generators and machinery, drawn in fine even line with hatched shading and printed here in blue ink, useful as machine diagrams, cutaway forms and captioned plate layouts.
