The Street railway journal
A trade periodical for street and electric railway managers and engineers, published by McGraw in New York from the 1880s onward, carrying equipment reports, line news and manufacturers' notices. The plates are sepia halftone photographs of rolling stock posed on track with crews and motormen standing alongside, useful for period car bodies, overhead wire and pole lines, clerestory roofs, and loose documentary group poses.
