The Street railway journal
A New York trade periodical issued by McGraw for street- and electric-railway engineers, managers and suppliers, running from 1884 onward. Illustrations pair line-drawn plant sections and machinery layouts, labelled in small caps, with halftone photographs of generating rooms full of flywheels, dynamos and piping, useful for machine profiles, technical lettering and long horizontal cross-section formats.
