Studio international
The Studio, a London monthly on fine and applied art begun in 1893 and read by artists, craftworkers and designers across Europe, reproduced current painting, mural work and ornament in halftone. The plates here run to symbolist figure groups in robes, tonal woodland friezes, and a decorative panel combining flowers, drapery and block lettering — useful for muted grey-scale texture and border layout.
