Studio International, the London art magazine begun in 1893 and issued by Cory, Adams & Mackay for artists, designers and collectors of applied art. Plates are halftone and line reproductions of contemporary paintings, etchings and decorative panels: figures in gardens with parasols, harbour panoramas, timber-framed cottages, pen studies of streets, all in soft grey tonal ranges useful for period atmosphere and ornament reference.
