Suggestions for handwork in school and home
A kindergarten handwork manual by Jane L. Hoxie, published by Milton Bradley in Springfield, Massachusetts in 1911, written for teachers and parents directing young children's paper and craft work. The plates are flat black silhouettes printed on cream stock: repeating six-petal cut-paper rosettes arranged as a scatter pattern, and a blunt animal profile with rough hand-cut edges, useful as stencil shapes, repeat motifs, or endpaper tiling.
