Summer school of the Rhode Island School of Design
An illustrated prospectus for the Rhode Island School of Design's summer school, issued by the school in Providence in 1912 for prospective students and art teachers. Halftone photographs of classrooms, the library, and design and metalwork studios are set in composite layouts, flanked by small panels of student work: hammered mugs and spoons, floral and leaf studies, rosettes, and rectilinear ornament usable as borders, spot motifs, and period interior reference.
