Surrey archaeological collections, relating to the history and antiquities of the county
Volumes of the Surrey Archaeological Society's county transactions, published in London from the 1850s onward and written by antiquarian members recording local churches, earthworks and finds. Pen-and-ink field drawings show lancet windows in rough masonry, octagonal fonts, moulded cornice sections and small excavated metalwork, all hatched in fine line for letterpress and usable as spot motifs or diagram fragments.
