Surrey archaeological collections, relating to the history and antiquities of the county
A volume of the Surrey Archaeological Society's county collections, issued in London in 1911 for antiquaries recording churches, earthworks and finds across Surrey. Plates mix halftone photographs of Norman windows, ironwork gates and carved bench-end heads with measured line drawings: church tower plans with hatched masonry, pottery profiles, sections and inch scales, all captioned in small letterspaced capitals.
