Surrey archaeological collections, relating to the history and antiquities of the county
A volume of Surrey Archaeological Collections, the county society's annual record of local history and antiquities, issued in London in 1913 for antiquarians and members. The plates reproduce monumental brasses in solid black rubbing-style: kneeling husbands and wives in gowns and heraldic tabards, a priest in embroidered vestments, rows of small kneeling children, quartered shields, scrolls, and blackletter inscription bands with worn letters.
