Survey of London
A volume of the Survey of London, the topographical record of buildings begun in 1900 by the London County Council with the London Survey Committee, compiled by architects and antiquaries for parish-by-parish documentation. Measured sections and plans in fine ink line sit beside monochrome wash drawings of doorways, staircases and brick house fronts, offering annotated architectural detail and soft tonal studies of vernacular building.
