A short Italian account by Niccolò Lucangeli of Henry III's 1574 journey from Cracow to Turin, printed in Venice by Gabriel Giolito de' Ferrari for readers following court and royal affairs. The pictures are small square woodcut initials in which letters stand over landscapes with bathing or reclining nude figures, foliage, distant towns and one scene of a fire, useful as drop-cap alphabets, narrow-hatched background textures and figure vignettes.
