Sweet P's
A short children's story about an only child, her nurse and her friendships, written by Julie Mathilde Lippmann and issued by the Penn Publishing Company in Philadelphia in 1902 for young readers. Halftone wash drawings show turn-of-the-century children in sailor dresses, double-breasted coats and caps, a uniformed nurse, and a crowded ship's deck farewell—useful for period costume and gesture studies.
