The synthetic dyestuffs : and the intermediate products from which they are derived
A technical handbook on synthetic dyestuffs and their intermediates, written by chemists John Cannell Cain and Jocelyn Field Thorpe and published in London by C. Griffin in 1905 for industrial and laboratory chemists. The plates are letterpress structural formulae: hexagonal benzene and fused naphthalene rings strung with bonds, arrows and bracketed labels, usable as geometric line motifs, diagram lattices and scientific ornament.
