Tables astronomiques
Astronomical tables compiled by Jean Baptiste Joseph Delambre with lunar tables by Johann Tobias Bürg, printed by Courcier in Paris in 1806 for astronomers and navigators computing solar and lunar positions. The pages are dense letterpress numeral grids with ruled columns, running heads of degree and minute symbols, bracketed difference columns and footnotes, useful as ready-made grid textures, small-figure typography, and rule-and-column layout references.
