Talmudische Archäologie
Samuel Krauss's Talmudische Archäologie (Leipzig: G. Fock, 1910), a German scholarly survey of the material culture described in Talmudic literature, written for rabbinic and archaeological specialists. The line-drawn figures explain construction: crenellated fortification plans, groin vaults and arch voussoirs drawn in perspective with hatched shading, and an Ionic capital — useful as diagrammatic architectural line art and masonry patterning.
