Tapisseries, broderies et dentelles; recueil de modeles anciens et modernes
A French survey of tapestry, embroidery and lace by art historian Eugène Müntz, published in Paris by the Librairie de l'Art in 1890 as a plate collection of historic and contemporary models for designers and manufacturers. The plates reproduce textiles in tone: scrolling grotesque borders, cartouche-framed mythological scenes after La Brun, Renaissance architectural interiors, and symmetrical flowering trees with facing peacocks.
