T.B.C. instructions and designs for tatting
A 1916 instruction booklet of tatting patterns issued by the thread firm T. Buettner & Co. of Hamburg and Chicago for home needleworkers. The plates are photographs of finished lace edgings and insertions shot flat against black grounds, giving high-contrast white linework of rings, picots, chains and net-filled scallops usable as borders, rules and repeating ornament.
