A trade journal for telegraph operators, issued by the National Telegraphic Union in New York from 1864 and circulated among the men who worked the wires. The plates are repeats of the engraved masthead: shaded display capitals arched over a sunburst with a hand at its center, flanked by telegraph poles carrying wires, useful for period lettering, ruled banner panels, and radiating-line backgrounds.
