Telephone directory, Fort Wayne, Indiana
A 1912 Fort Wayne telephone directory issued by the Home Telephone & Telegraph Co. for local subscribers, its pages padded with advertisements from Indiana manufacturers and suppliers. The illustrations are coarse-screened halftones and small line cuts of electric motors, flat-bed wagons, switchboard rooms and vertical steam hoists, useful for grainy industrial texture, machine silhouettes and period trade-ad layout.
