Teneriffe lace work
A needlework instruction booklet on Teneriffe (sol) lace issued by the Th. de Dillmont firm at Mulhouse in 1920 for home lacemakers working from printed pattern series. Photographs show finished circular medallions in white thread on black grounds, arranged in grids: radiating spokes, knotted wheels, scalloped picot edges and star-filled centres, usable as rosettes, borders and halftone motifs.
