A treatise on the theory and practice of perspective by the Bolognese astronomer Eustachio Zanotti, printed by Lelio Dalla Volpe in Bologna in 1766 for painters, architects and students of geometry. The engraved plates are numbered figures in fine line: picture planes, sight lines in dotted rays, lettered vanishing points, with one shaded solid — usable as diagram line work, arrow-free ray fans and italic figure labels.
