The testing of clinical thermometers
A 1905 technical bulletin by C. W. Waidner and L. A. Fischer, issued by the National Bureau of Standards in Washington for instrument makers, physicians, and calibration laboratories concerned with clinical thermometer accuracy. Halftone photographs show comparator stands, thermometer racks, and a hand holding apparatus against wood, while line plates give sectioned wiring and plumbing diagrams with voltage labels, useful for brass-and-glass laboratory hardware and schematic line work.
