A text book of the principles of physics
A university-level physics textbook written by Alfred Daniell and published by Macmillan in London in 1884 for students and lecturers. The plates are plain line diagrams: ray paths through hatched glass blocks, angle fans and arcs, gridded curves plotted point by point, and single-letter labels set in light serif type, useful as ready-made geometric marks or figure conventions.
