A catalogue volume of the Egyptian Museum in Cairo, compiled by Georges Daressy and published in 1903 by the Institut français d'archéologie orientale for Egyptologists and museum staff. Halftone plates photograph magical stelae, amulet plaques and cylinder objects in raking light, showing crowded registers of gods, animals and hieroglyphic columns worn to soft relief and chipped edges.
