Textile applied arithmetic and calculations
A 1919 technical manual by Claud W. McSwain, printed in Greenville, South Carolina, for mill hands and students working out gearing, draft and production figures in cotton textile plants. The plates are flat line schematics of spinning frames and carding machines, labeled with roll diameters and tooth counts, useful as diagrammatic machine profiles, numbered callouts and engineering lettering.
