Textile calculations: being a guide to calculations relating to the construction of all kinds of yarns and fabrics
A technical manual by Emanuel Anthony Posselt, published in Philadelphia in 1896, teaching yarn and fabric calculations to mill managers, weavers and textile students. The wood-engraved plates show spinning frames, looms and winding machines in three-quarter view, drawn with fine hatching and repeated spindles and gearing that yield rhythmic industrial silhouettes and machine-part details.
