A 1910 technical manual on textile manufacture by A. F. Barker and collaborators, published in New York by D. Van Nostrand for mill workers and students of the trade. Plates mix schematic diagrams of carding, drawing and spinning machinery with photographs of looms and hatched cross-sections of woven cloth showing warp and weft interlacing.
