Robert H. Megraw's 1906 American trade volume on textile fabrics and the origins of their names, issued in New York for cloth merchants and manufacturers. Soft tonal halftone plates show a weaver at a hand loom, a seated inventor at his desk, and workers among cotton baskets in a field, useful for period machinery detail and shaded figure studies.
