A 1908 museum catalogue of the Leopold Iklé textile collection, issued by the Industrie- und Gewerbemuseum St. Gallen in Zürich for lace scholars, collectors, and the Swiss embroidery trade. The plates are photographs of lace and embroidered linen shot against black, showing filet panels of diamond lattice and stylised birds, drawn-thread cloths with double-headed eagle medallions, needlelace borders of flowering stems, and scrolling Venetian cutwork strips.
