A text book of the principles of physics
A university-level physics textbook by Alfred Daniell, published by Macmillan in London in 1885 for students and teachers of the subject. The figures are spare line diagrams printed within the text: lettered construction points, circles and optical cones, ruled rays, hatched blocks standing for mirrors and masses — useful as geometric marks, arrow-free vector lines and cross-hatch fills.
