Textus De sphera
A 1507 Paris edition of Sacrobosco's De sphera with commentary by Jacques Lefèvre d'Étaples, printed in Latin by Henri Estienne for university students of astronomy and geometry, bound with Bonet de Lates on the astronomical ring and Euclidean matter. The illustrations are small letterpress woodcut diagrams set into gothic text: heavy black discs, concentric orbital rings, eclipse shadow cones, and circles crossed by lettered chords, useful as coarse geometric marks with visible ink spread and paper grain.
