Theodosii Sphaerica : methodo nova illustrata, & succinctè demonstrata
Isaac Barrow's Latin edition of Theodosius's Sphaerica, printed in London in 1675 by William Godbid for mathematicians and university readers, in a copy once owned by John Adams. Folding plates carry dozens of numbered spherical-geometry diagrams — circles crossed by chords, arcs and lettered points, shaded hemispheres, ellipses and ruled meridian bands — useful as line-drawn geometric motifs, pattern grids, or repeating diagram fields.
