Theory of silk weaving; a treatise on the construction and application of weaves, and the decomposition and calculation of broad and narrow, plain, novelty and jacquard silk fabrics
A 1921 technical manual on silk weaving by Arnold Wolfensberger, published in New York by The American Silk Journal for mill designers, loom technicians and textile students. The plates are point-paper weave diagrams: ruled grids of small squares filled solid black or left blank to plot twills, satins, checks and diagonals, useful as ready-made modular patterns, halftone-like dot fields and grid textures.
