Third annual catalogue / Emerson & Son.
A furniture manufacturer's trade catalogue issued by Emerson & Son of Milford, New Hampshire, in 1893, printed to show dealers and retail buyers the firm's chair line for the season. The plates are line-engraved chairs drawn in three-quarter view, with turned spindles, carved shell crests, caned and upholstered seats, rockers and casters rendered in fine hatching, useful for period furniture silhouettes, ornament motifs, and catalogue-style spot illustration.
