A trade pattern-book of thirty fancy-dress designs issued in London in 1894 by the drapers B. Burnet & Co., drawn to their brief by R. L. Bööcke for customers ordering costumes for balls and amateur theatricals. Each plate is a full-length pen-and-ink figure in a light outdoor or interior setting, with drapery, sashes, puffed sleeves, tassels and headdresses rendered in fine hatching that reproduces cleanly at small sizes.
