Thomae Bartholini De armillis veterum schedion : accessit Olai Wormii De aureo cornu Danico ad Licetum responsio
A Latin antiquarian treatise by Thomas Bartholin on the arm-rings of ancient and Germanic peoples, bound with Ole Worm's reply to Fortunio Liceti about the Danish golden horn, printed in Amsterdam by Henrik Wetstein in 1676 for scholars of antiquities. The plates are small woodcuts of coiled and clasped spiral bracelets, drawn in dense parallel hatching, alongside decorated initial letters filled with curling foliage; useful for ornamental capitals and compact metalwork silhouettes.
