Tomb of Yuaa and Thuiu
Excavation catalogue of the Valley of the Kings burial of Yuya and Tjuyu, parents-in-law of Amenhotep III, compiled by James Edward Quibell for the Egyptian Antiquities Service and published in Cairo in 1908 for museum curators and archaeologists. Halftone photographs isolate gilded anthropoid coffins, canopic chests, shabtis, chariot parts and wooden boxes against plain grounds, giving designers silhouetted artefact profiles, bands of hieroglyphic inscription and high-contrast gold-on-black surface pattern.
