Volumes of technical papers from the American Institute of Mining, Metallurgical, and Petroleum Engineers, issued in New York from 1871 onward for working mining and metallurgical engineers. The plates are hand-lettered mill flow sheets and geological mine sections, built from boxes, connecting lines, stippled and hatched ore bodies and small keyed legends, useful for diagram vocabulary, engineering lettering and shaft-and-level grid patterns.
