A volume of county antiquarian transactions issued by the Shropshire Archaeological and Natural History Society at Shrewsbury in 1882, written by local members for subscribing readers. Plates combine measured line drawings of gateway plans and elevations, a half-arch showing voussoirs and carved interlace mouldings, and sheets of incised grave-slab fragments with lettering, usable as architectural diagram and ornament stock.
