Annual transactions of a county antiquarian and natural history society, issued in Shrewsbury from 1895 for local members and record-keeping scholars. The plates reproduce monumental brasses as line rubbings: robed priests, armoured knights with wives, rows of kneeling children, heraldic shields, and black-letter inscription bands usable as borders, silhouettes, or ornament.
