Transactions of the Shropshire Archaeological and Natural History Society
Annual transactions of a county antiquarian society, issued at Shrewsbury from 1879 for local members researching Shropshire archaeology, genealogy and natural history. Plates mix line drawings of inscribed Roman tombstones and altars with engraved landscape views of castles and ruins, plus full-page typeset pedigree charts whose bracketed rules and dense small type work as ready-made diagram structure.
