A volume of county antiquarian transactions issued by the Shropshire Archaeological and Natural History Society at Shrewsbury in 1890, written by local members reporting excavations and church fabric to fellow antiquaries. The plates mix measured ground plans, sections and elevations of masonry with pen sketches of stone coffins in situ and an engraved exterior view, supplying line-drawn architectural diagrams, hatching and lettered keys.
