Transactions of the Shropshire Archaeological and Natural History Society
A volume of the Shropshire Archaeological and Natural History Society's Transactions, published at Shrewsbury in 1905 for county antiquaries and members. The plates reproduce engraved armorial bookplates four to a page: shields with supporters, coronets, mantling, ribbon scrolls carrying owners' names and seats, wreath and rococo frames, and crests of stags, lions, griffins and herons, useful as heraldic and monogram-frame stock.
