Transactions of the Shropshire Archaeological and Natural History Society
A volume of the annual Transactions of the Shropshire Archaeological and Natural History Society, printed at Shrewsbury in 1908 for county antiquaries and members reporting on local churches, manors and excavations. Plates are pen-and-ink field drawings and photographic halftones of ruined chapels, timber-framed houses and carved tomb monuments, plus surveyed village plans with named fields, roads and cottages, useful as line stock for maps, architectural detail and hand-lettered captions.
