Line drawings and halftones show timber-framed halls with black-and-white lozenge panelling, gabled fronts and tall chimneys, small stone churches seen among trees and gravestones, and ruined walls, all captioned in spaced capitals and usable as building elevations, architectural ornament, or rural vignettes.
